FULL LIST: The South African Music Awards 28 (SAMAs) nominees have been announced

On Tuesday morning at The Garden Venue Boutique Hotel in Randburg, the 28 nominees for the South African Music Awards were unveiled.

The nominees were released in over 25 categories, and Zakes Bantwini is delighted because as he has received 7 nominations.

In both the Record of the Year and Music Video of the Year categories, Amapiano DJ De Mthuda received four nominations for his popular singles Jola and John Wick.

The 28th annual South African Music Awards (SAMAs) will be presented out at a live ceremony on SABC1 on July 31, 2022.

Kamo Mphela, an Amapiano musician, has been nominated for Female Artist of the Year, Best Amapiano Album, and Music Video of the Year.

1.2  Parliament assented to POPIA on 19 November 2013. The commencement date of section 1, Part A of Chapter 5, section 112 and section 113 was 11 April 2014. The commencement date of the other sections was 1 July 2020 (with the exception of section 110 and 114(4). The President of South Africa has proclaimed the POPI commencement date to be 1 July 2020.

 
1.3. “Processing” means the creation, generation, communication, storage, destruction of personal information as more fully defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.
