Boity reveals she underwent breast reduction surgery

Boity Thulo has revealed that she underwent breast reduction surgery and a breast lift to give her peace of mind.

The rapper and businesswoman, went for the procedure on 28 February with plastic surgeon Dr Bruce Lelala.

Boity, who is just 33-years old said the procedure has benefitted her in more ways that she initially thought it would.

A mastoplexy is a breast lift generally performed on women who have saggy breasts due to pregnancy, significant weight loss or genetics.

The procedure involves lifting the breast tissue to a higher position on the chest wall, repositioning the nipple/areolar area, and tightening the skin.

Sharing videos and a detailed post about her procedure, Boity shared that she had been contemplating going for the breast reduction surgery for a while.

“I’m so excited because this is something I wanted to do for a long time, just because of my lower back pain, and also being tired of not being able to fit into the garments I like wearing.

Because I’ve always been so conscious of how big my breasts look, and also how uneven they’ve been, so, I just felt like it was time for me to fix it.”

Boity showed off her higher, tighter, and smaller bust size in her recent Instagram snaps and said she was proud to have chosen one of the best, most qualified, black surgeons on the continent to get her the results she wanted.

“4-months ago on 28 February, I decided to take the plunge and do a procedure that benefitted me in more ways than I thought I would.

A mastoplexy, which is a breast reduction and lift. This is a post to thank Dr Bruce, not only for his incredible work, but for his care and compassion throughout the healing process.

From random calls of me stressing, to taking out the time to go the extra mile regardless of what I felt I needed in order to give me peace of mind.

Over and above that, I’m so proud of having worked with one of the best, most qualified black surgeons on the continent.”

Boity joked that she would be calling on the good doctor to sculpt her body back into shape when she eventually has a baby.
