Congratulations are in order for South African YouTuber Lasizwe Dambuza, who has achieved the remarkable milestone of reaching 1 million subscribers on YouTube!

Expressing his excitement, Lasizwe shared, “WE JUST MADE HISTORY!” He continued, “I’m the first UNDER 30 male to reach 1 million subscribers on YouTube in South Africa 🇿🇦! CRAZZZYYYYY!!!”

The content creator dedicated this achievement to his loyal subscribers, who have supported him throughout his journey.

“Firstly, THANK YOU😭❤️! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUBSCRIBED TO MY CHANNEL AND SUPPORTED ME FROM NOW AND 7 YEARS AGO!!! (DAMN!!! 7 years!!!!!)”

In 2022, Lasizwe announced his decision to quit YouTube, sharing the emotional news in a heartfelt video where he explained the reasons behind the closure of his channel.

Reflecting on the challenges he faced that year, the popular content creator opened up about falling into depression, which ultimately led to a hospitalisation. Despite his struggles, Lasizwe expressed deep gratitude to his then 700,000 subscribers.

“Making this video has been so difficult for me, as YouTube is my first home,” he shared in the announcement.

In the caption accompanying his farewell video, the TV personality wrote: “Thank you to everyone who has supported and helped me grow in my YouTube journey. But it’s time we say goodbye to this chapter and make room for a new ERA…”

Lasizwe’s candid message resonated with fans, highlighting the emotional toll and personal growth that often accompany such decisions.
