This morning talented singer/songwriter Lira gave her fans another update on her journey to recovery since suffering a stroke earlier this year.
5 months on, Lira says she’s “alive and kicking.”
Expressing gratitude for the “gift of life” Lira notes that she’s enjoying her much-needed break and has “made incredible progress.”
The musician adds that one big lesson she has learned throughout this experience is to “slow down, smell the roses and savour each moment.”
In another update earlier this month, while doing rehearsals with Mzansi Youth Choir. Lira revealed that “speech has been challenging but she can still sing.”
A few celebs including Tembisa Mdoda and Hulisani Ravele showed love to Lira and expressed their excitement over seeing her doing what she loves.
Lira suffered a stroke in April this year in Germany where she was booked to perform.
