Following the murder of three-year-old Keketso Saule, who was fatally attacked by two Pitbulls at Hennenman in the Free State, actress Pearl Modiadie says the dog breed belongs in the wild.
This occurred a week after a pitbull fatally mauled eight-year-old Olebogeng Mosime in Bloemfontein.
According to SABC News, the incident happened in the neighbour’s yard.
Following the incident, Modiadie tweeted that “Pitbulls belong in the wild! They are NOT pets!!!”
“It’s heartbreaking reading about yet another child being mauled by these dogs.”

Club DJ Thuli Phongolo has also called for Pitbulls to be banned.
“Pitbulls are a NO-NO, I’m so glad people are taking a stand against having them as pets. My ex had 3 & it was always terrifying being around them alone especially if they weren’t fed yet or fed on their regular time, they go wild! They are not safe, RIP to the young souls lost.”
