Kids share their lockdown experiences on Kaya Drive
Children have a resilience that seems unwavering and watching them adapt to the changes the COVID-19 pandemic brought to their lives has been phenomenal.
Taking to the online learning that became an instrumental takeaway from the pandemic, kids were forced to adapt to the COVID-19 protocols and get used to their ‘new normal’ childhood.
Being unable to have playdates, go to the arcades, or enjoy regular everyday activities like a picnic in the park, could not have been easy on them.
Kaya Drive with Sizwe Dhlomo asked kids to share their lockdown experiences with the team, and this is what they had to say:
