Umalusi gives a thumbs up to the release of the 2022 matric results.

At a press conference on Monday, Umalusi announced the results of its quality assurance procedures for the 2022 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.

The 2022 NSC exams’ general legitimacy and integrity were not jeopardized by the anomalies discovered during the writing and marking of the exams, according to council chairperson Prof. Yunus Ballim.

“The minister will make her announcement on the 19th and learners, as far as the department is concerned, will be able to fetch their results early in the morning on the 20th.
There has not been any request for an extension to next week as reported in the media.” said Umalusi’s Biki Lepota.

Umalusi, also confirmed that the matric results will be released will on Thursday, with pupils able to receive their marks at schools on Friday.
