Birthday girl Zonke Dikana dedicates new album to fans

Today, October 11, 2023, marks the birthday of beloved South African musician Zonke Dikana, and what better way to celebrate another year around the sun than to avail her latest body of work to everyone? “Here’s my gift to you guys. Album out on November 3rd, Zonke said to her fans.
The body of work, titled Embo, which is already available on CD, vinyl and USB, will be available across streaming platforms this November.
In April of this year, Zonke Dikana was announced as the cover star of True Love magazine. The issue celebrated Zonke’s 20 years in the music industry. Reacting to the cover, the award-winning said that the nod was an ‘honour.’
In 2022, Zonke joined My Top 10 at 10 with Tbose for an exclusive sitdown. During the interview, she spoke about her new album, being inspired during the COVID-19 pandemic to go and pursue her passion for flying aircraft, as well as the challenges that come with becoming a licensed pilot.
