Nigerian rapper and singer Rema is coming to South Africa.
Divine Ikubor, better known by her stage name Rema, is a Nigerian Afro Beats singer, songwriter, and rapper who has joined the Hey Neighbour festival lineup, which also includes The Chainsmokers, H.E.R., Khalid, Kendrick Lamar, and Swedish House Mafia.
The young rapper and singer is a rising star who fuses Afrobeats and trap to produce a fresh sound that inspires both young and old.
After the release of his song “Iron Man,” which was featured on Barack Obama’s summer playlist, he gained notoriety.
Rema and Kendrick Lamar will be included on the lineup for Day 2.
The Hey Neighbour festival is scheduled to happen at Legends Adventure Farm in Pretoria from December 8–10, 2023.

“Calm Down” has over 660 million views
A year ago he collaborated with Selena Gomez on his hit song Calm Down, the song which currently has over 660 million views on Youtube won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Afrobeats, a newly created category.
