Tyla, is the most streamed African musician on Spotify and has surpassed Burna Boy and Rema.

Tyla’s popular song “Water” receives over 499 million plays, bringing her monthly Spotify listener count to 30 million.

Tyla is quickly becoming the continent’s most popular singer because of her streaming statistics and global recognition, especially when she surpassed Rema on Spotify, who has 29,720,809 monthly listeners.

On Apple Music, Tyla’s debut album is ranked in 140 countries. With five months behind it, the original video has received 145 million views on YouTube.

Tyla smashes records for the most global top ten iTunes chart positions! Her self-titled album is presently in the top 10 on iTunes in 20 different nations globally!

She becomes South Africa’s first to achieve this feat. She also recently released a music video for her song ART on YouTube.
