The official announcement of the cost of fuel for the month of May is announced. Diesel drivers can celebrate another decrease which almost, but not quite so, allows diesel vehicle drivers to purchase 5 litres with one blue Mandela bill.
Sadly the same can’t be said for petrol drivers who will have to be satisfied with an increase of 37 cents in both 93 and 95.
The wholesale diesel price will now be costed at R20.15 a litre and petrol 93 at R23.01 a litre and petrol 95 at R23.34 a litre.

The grandmother of one of the murdered boys, Nqobile Ndlovu and her boyfriend Mthunzi Musawenkosi Zulu, 39 were arrested in connection with the murder of the boys.
They are charged with two counts of murder, kidnapping, perjury and defeating the ends of justice
The story of Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magudumana continues. It is reported that the home the two famously shared before going on the run can be rented. The beautiful home with its manicured lawn can be rented for a cool R70 000 per month.
On a more serious note, the burnt remains of the unidentified body found in Thabo Bester’s cell was identified.
