Images and audio from the night of Boity’s alleged assault by Bujy Bikwa has surfaced. In the audio obtained from The Citizen, Boity and Bujy can be heard arguing before things took a turn for the worst after Bujy reportedly threw a bottle of alcohol at her.
Releasing a statement confirming the incident, Boity then opened a case of assault against the producer and podcaster.
Since the incident was reported, several eyewitnesses have come forward with accounts of the night of the altercation, detailing how heated the incident was.
Initially, people thought Boity’s assault was not a big deal because her statement didn’t include details.
“It is with deep sadness to state that I was indeed an unfortunate victim of a vicious physical assault and that I have since opened a case against the culprit, which I am following with a keen interest. I do not wish to comment on this matter any further (at this time),” read the statement.
“I respectfully request some space as I try find a way to heal both physically and emotionally from this traumatic experience.” she said.
However, since the image of a bloodied Boity surfaced, many are calling for Bujy to be held accountable.

The incident took place at the Courtyard Hotel after a cellphone launch Boity was attending was cancelled. All attendees were invited to a dinner instead, during which Boity insisted on giving people “readings” in her capacity as a traditional healer.
Boity and Bujy exchanged personal insults, with Boity saying, “I’m a bigger person than him, everyone thinks he’s like…no one. No one knows who he is.”
Bujy then hit back about Boity’s ancestors being fake after she tried to give him a reading which her ancestors had manifested for him.
More insults were hurled before the sound of glass breaking can be heard and people around them yelling for them to stop.
Bujy shouts “everybody is gonna know who the f### I am after I f### Boity up!”

Bujy appeared at the Midrand Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning after spending a weekend in jail following his arrest. He has since been released on bail of R2 000 and has been ordered to stay away from Boity’s home and to not contact her or any of the state’s witnesses.
Boity was allegedly hit on the face with a bottle by Bujy.
This happened a week ago and no GBV activists called for the cancelling of anybody.
Mara had it been, say Cassper that allegedly hit Boity, Cassper would be cancelled by now.

The war is against straight men NOT gender based violence….Somizi free as a bird….Bujy free as well….wake up straight black men, we are an endangered species, they want to see you either broke, in jail or dead. Masculinity is under attack.

BUJY is so messed up for what he did. He needs to rot in jail. What a twisted sick person.
